The ABRFC Hall of Fame recognizes the tireless efforts of individuals who have advanced the Aurora Barbarian Rugby Football Club as an organization. Those enshrined are persons who over the years have demonstrated service, devotion, ideas and ideals and have made contributions above and beyond to the sport of rugby union. Our globally celebrated sport would not be what it is today without the many remarkable women and men, whom at the club level, have broken barriers and paved the way for future generations.
The Class of 2019 is brimming with those who have had a significant impact on the game. We thank them for their contributions to our club and look forward to honoring them during Enshrinement on the evening of June 15th at Fletcher’s Fields.
The 2019 class of inductees has some of the most accomplished performers and contributors that our club has ever seen. This class pays particular attention and honors excellence over an extended career, setting new standards of achievement combined with longevity. Each inductee has also given back so much more to the sport than they ever received and continue to lead, inspire, and promote long after their remarkable on the field successes.
The path to becoming a Hall of Famer is unique for everyone, but each of the Class of 2019 is marked with stories of perseverance, challenge, defeat and triumph. The careers of this year’s Class show us what it means to play a sport rooted in dedication, courage and grace. These Hall of Famers demonstrate what it means to live the values of rugby on the field and off.
