Town of Aurora/ ABRFC Adult Touch Program

Our Adult Touch Program has partnered with the Town of Aurora to make it more accessible. The program run in 4 x 8 week blocks in the Winter (Feb/March), Spring (May/June) Summer (July/August) Fall (October/November)

These non-contact session is geared towards learning how to play to touch rugby through mini/modified games. These sessions will be filled with activities to teach the skills required to rugby with a games-based approach.

A parent to one of the clubs Under 12’s had this to say about the program:

“Firstly,  I would definitely recommend the program. It was a great opportunity for me to understand a new game, support my own daughter’s love of the game and get in some good exercise. The best parts were the game play but I really appreciated the different drills we did at the beginning of the session. they were always varied, and they made sense in the game. I’m not a gym person and have always preferred playing a sport to stay physically active. It was great to learn a new sport, play something outside, meet new people and learn why my daughter’s favorite sport isn’t that easy!”

Registration for this program is via the Town of Aurora.
